Putta Bucca Wetlands

Putta Bucca Wetlands is a waterbird paradise that exhibits a wide range of flora and fauna. Once an open quarry site, this reconstructed wetland is now home to over 160 species of birds. Two newly built bird hides can be found as well as a wonderful playground for young visitors. This is a recreational area for birdwatching, bicycle riding, fishing and walking.

Red Hill EEC collaborate with Mid-Western Regional Council to deliver learning programs at Putta Bucca Wetlands for our visiting students.
