Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp

Dunns Swamp, or Ganguddy as it is known to local Aboriginal people, is a beautiful, serene waterway on the Cudgegong river in Wollemi National Park. Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp is a popular camping and picnic area, nestled amongst the stunning sandstone pagoda rock formations of the Sydney Basin. Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp enjoys an outstanding biodiversity of plant and animal communities with at least 107 bird species spotted in the area.

Red Hill EEC deliver a variety of outdoor and environmental education learning programs at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp, incorporating cultural and environmental knowledge as well as canoeing and bush-walking.

Ganguddy – Dunns Swamp is located at the head waters of the Cudgegong River in Wollemi National Park. The campsite is 109kms from Gulgong, and just 25 kilometres east of Rylstone and Kandos.
